Dr. Gerald Glass, Founder, Chairman and CEO
Dr. Glass has always been driven by the use of technology in improving the dynamic between physicians, patients and insurance companies. Prior to entering medicine, Dr. Glass received his undergraduate degree from North American University while enlisted in the United States Army. He later completed Officer Candidate School and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. After being honorably discharged from the service, Dr. Glass earned a Physician Assistant degree from Western University of Health and Sciences and became the founder, President and CEO of MebSoft, a medical billing software company. MebSoft was a pioneer in retrospectively analyzing carrier reimbursement as it related to diagnosis. Its proprietary software was the first of its kind in improving reimbursement for providers by utilizing a rules-based system in linking diagnosis to reimbursement. Dr. Glass then went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from Windsor University School of Medicine. In 1997, Dr. Glass co-founded AHCS and has served as co-CEO since its inception. Then, in 2015, Dr. Glass became the Chairman of the Board for AHCS and ezVerify with the primary goal of using technology to eliminate surprise bills and allow patients to understand their “out of pocket” responsibility, as well as give physicians a better understanding of what insurance companies need to process claims more expeditiously and accurately. Dr. Glass’s overall goal is to lower healthcare costs through technology and electronic communication. ezVerify is now one of the industry leaders in actively mining data to accomplish these goals and is now being rolled out nationwide.
Dave Bowen, President
Dave joined AHCS in September of 2007, bringing more than 15 years experience in sales and executive leadership for various medical service companies. Since 2015, Dave has been CEO and President of AHCS. Prior to joining AHCS, Dave was the Executive Vice President of Sales for PainCare Holdings, a publicly traded company. He led the corporate expansion of PainCare’s services focused on the treatment of back pain by heading up the growth of the in-office electrodiagnostic screening program for orthopaedic surgeons and pain physicians nationally. Before his time with PainCare, Dave worked for Advanced Prosthetics and Orthotics of America as President. Dave has served six years on Florida’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Foundation Board. Dave brings to AHCS a well rounded background that includes strong relationships in a variety of industries through his professional career as well as his charitable ventures.
Chris Reichart, Chief Operations Officer
Chris joined AHCS, the parent company of ezVerify, in 2008, bringing more than 25 years of experience in sales and leadership. Chris developed his organizational and leadership qualities as a coach in the National Hockey League (NHL) between 1990 and 2004. Chris worked with the Buffalo Sabers, San Diego Gulls (IHL), Atlanta Thrashers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers. Throughout the years Chris wore many hats working as a professional scout, strength & conditioning coach and assistant coach. After leaving the NHL, Chris worked as an orthopedic medical device representative between 2004 and 2008, providing DonJoy Global products used for total joint replacement in the operating room. Chris started in business development with AHCS and quickly improved his annual sales volume to upwards of 15 Million. Chris’s leadership qualities were quickly recognized and he was promoted to a leadership role in 2012. Chris is now the COO, managing daily operations for both AHCS and ezVerify.
Edward Dibeler, Chief Information Officer
Edward Dibeler left the corporate IT world in 2000 to start Puma Telecommunications, a fully skilled IT consulting firm. Focusing on software development and integration, he began creating hybrid voice and data systems which revolutionized the way communication and data worked together. Network infrastructure projects were also a large part of the offering from Puma. In 2008, Puma Telecommunications was contracted by AHCS, a leader in physician dispensing software systems, to assist its technology division with certain challenges it was facing in the voice and data arena. The partnership continued until 2012 when Edward was asked to serve as consulting CIO for ezVerify, a subsidiary of AHCS. In 2013, Edward officially became CIO for AHCS and ezVerify.
Michael Evanoff, Chief Financial Officer
Michael joined AHCS in 2013, bringing over 20 years experience successfully leading fast growth organizations. Prior to AHCS, Michael helped lead Channel Intelligence, a premier E-Commerce software company, through 5 years of development and market leadership. Google acquired Channel Intelligence, where Michael later became a financial leader. He worked in the Insurance and Securities industry with Jefferson Pilot Financial and Lincoln Financial for 5 years before Channel Intelligence. Michael also played a role building DirecTV Latin America’s high growth until it was acquired by News Corp. Michael spent more than a decade before this working on various roles for ExxonMobil. Michael holds an MBA from Temple University and a B.S. degree from Marquette University.
